Marty Lanier, ALC is a native of Brunswick County, NC and has called southeastern NC home his entire life. He has been a licensed real estate broker in North Carolina since 2007 and is also licensed in South Carolina. Marty has earned the elite Accredited Land Consultant Designation through the Realtors Land Institute. The ALC designation is earned through extensive education in all types of land, land investment analysis and marketing, as well as a proven high level of sales volume. Marty is one of only a very few ALCs in his market area, and he is a member of the Carolinas Chapter of RLI. Marty was a two time inductee into the Mossy Oak Properties Pinnacle Club when he worked with Mossy Oak Properties. The Pinnacle Club recognizes the top selling agents in the Mossy Oak network. He is licensed with the Federal Aviation Administration to fly drones for commercial and business purposes. This gives him the ability to create quality photography and videos of properties. In today’s real estate market, videos are an extremely effective selling tool, and Marty is one of the few agents licensed to fly a drone to create videos of his listings.

Marty graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a BS degree in Business Management. He served in the US Army Reserve as an officer with the 824th Transportation Company (Heavy Boat) in Morehead City, NC. Marty worked in his family construction business for over 20 years as Vice President, Estimator and General Manager.

Marty is a lifelong outdoorsman, equally at home in a tree stand or fishing our coastal waters. As a rural landowner he is knowledgeable in all aspects of managing land and the resources available to enhance and profit from a tract of land. His experience and knowledge make him a natural choice for assisting buyers and sellers with timberland, farmland and recreational properties. His sole focus in real estate is listing, marketing and selling rural land. His hobbies are hunting, fishing and managing the longleaf pine habitat on his land. Marty resides in Brunswick County with his wife Cyndi, son Jonathan and daughter Amanda.

“I have always lived in a rural area and I enjoy working with people who have a love for the land. I have always maintained a reputation for honesty and integrity when working with buyers and sellers. I have a genuine love for wildlife and I believe strongly in conserving and enhancing wildlife habitat. I plan to do my part to continue our heritage of hunting, fishing and rural property ownership. I am one of the few real estate agents that have the experience, education, reputation, tools and ability to effectively market and sell rural property.”
